Our tale begins here, in the quiet fishing village of Easthaven. One of the so-called "Ten Towns" of Icewind Dale, the tiny community is hardly a town, but rather a collection of ramshackle huts crowded together upon the icy shores of Lac Dinneshere. Here within a dimly lit tavern, a group of travelers sit huddled around a table, swapping tales and making grand plans for the future, completely unaware of the part they are to play in the events that are about to unfold.

Group play mayhem with Icewind Dale

We took a series of pictures from a single group session joined in by Rashkae, Slowdive, and Manwae that lasted 7+ hours making it the first game session to completely finish a module in a single sitting. The game was hosted with a DM client and we took the liberty of tossing in a few extra encounters. Our characters rounded out a well balanced party supported with a few NPC's which consisted of Rashkae playing a hot paladin named Karisu, a wizard elf by the name of Miki controlled by Slowdive and finally myself playing a Icewind Dale native named Balar the Grey Bear, an aging but lustful barbarian looking to take another wife home to the icy tundra after a bloody adventure in the Khuldar pass. Role play throughout the game session made the entire experience really cool. Here are a few snap shots from this amazing game session:

You too can experience IWD in group play and several other amazing modules featured in our community.
